Notes

  • Program notes:

The musicians from ancient China, when they play instruments, they will decide time of each note, strong or weak and speed or duration of vibrato, which only based on their feeling and environment. In order to express their self-cultivation, the different and sophisticated technics will be used. They agree that presenting the music they thought is a way to convey theirs mind.
It is best and splendid way to express the idea of rhyme that I wish combine the western technics of chamber music and ancient Chinese musical ideology. Each note’s showing, duration, alternation, and strong or weak are be decorated and also inspired from different sounds of instrument with complex technics. They are dimensionally showing a rhyme from Chinese musical culture.
