temp'óra is issuing a new call for projects





In order to promote recently composed music scores, temp’óra is issuing a call for projects, period 2016-2017. It is aimed at composers and ensembles (instrumental and/or vocal) involved mainly in contemporary music. Applications form must be returned by 30 July 2015. Results: 30 September 2015. Directions for entries of projects to temp’óra (must be followed to be considered): In the text below, the performing part of the project is called ensemble (from two performers), and may incorporate electroacoustics. The pieces may also be of improvisational character.

2nd International competition for harpsichordists and composers 2015. Deadline: February 15. The Prix Annelie de Man 2015 will take place from May 26 – 30th 2015. The Foundation Annelie de Man organizes in cooperation with the Orgelpark in Amsterdam Netherlands a competition for composers and harpsichordists to promote and support contemporary harpsichord repertoire. SIMC course of study oboe





SIMC (Italian Society of Contemporary Music – Italian Section of ISCM), in order to introduce young performers to contemporary languages, in collaboration with Edizioni Carrara of Bergamo announces a selection of compositions that accompany the course of study at different levels. The 2014 selection is devoted to the oboe, in three different sections: A-oboe solo., B- oboe and piano or oboe and organ or oboe and harpsichord and C-ensemble of double-reed instruments (oboe, english horn, oboe d’amore, bassoon), from duo to sextet.



2014/08/02-08/16 47th Darmstadt International Summer Courses for New Music





On 2 August, the 47th Darmstadt International Summer Courses for New Music will open under the artistic direction of Thomas Schäfer with Karlheinz Stockhausen’s legendary composition Carré for four orchestras, four choirs, and four conductors, and Sir Harrison Birtwistle’s Cortege. The two-week festival (2-16 August 2014) features over 30 concerts, performances, semi-scenic musical theater events and experimental interventions that will take place in several different locations and spaces in Darmstadt.

2014/02/15 The 6th International Competition and Festival of Soloists and Chamber Groups Svirél between March 28 and April 13, 2014 will inspire with its young participants in the castle of Štanjel in Karst Region a special artistic atmosphere.
