Biography

Iñaki Estrada Torío was born in San Sebastián, Guipúzcoa ( Spain ), in 1977.

He was admitted unanimously by the jury of the Superior National Conservatory of Music and Dance of Paris, studying Composition with Frédéric Durieux; New Technologies applied to Composition (electroacoustics and MaxMSP) with Luis Naón, Yann Geslin and Tom Mays. After having been awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of Culture and of La Caixa, he studied into the Annual Cursus of Musical Composition of Ircam-Centre the Georges Pompidou.

He has been a fellow of the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome thanks to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2009-10. Currently develops an intense compositional work with both instrumental and electronic work and teaching at the Conservatory of Music of Castilla y León.
