Biography

Christian Skjødt (b.1980) is a Danish artist and composer working in the intersection between sound, visual art, and science.
Skjødt has participated in contemporary music / sound art festivals like Ostrava Days, CZ; Sound Reasons, New Delhi IN; Skan II / Skanu Mežs, Riga LV; Üle Heli, Tallinn EE; Verona Risuona IT; GAS, Göteborg SE; Spor, Aarhus DK; Wundergrund, Copenhagen DK.
He has exhibited works at Ars Electronica Festival, Linz AU; Mois Multi, Quebec CA; A plus A Gallery, Venice IT; Műcsarnok Kunsthalle Budapest HU; Cruce Contemporáneo, Madrid ES; Museum of Artistic Process and Public Art, Lund SE; Overgaden - Institute of Contemporary Art, Copenhagen DK; Museum of Contemporary Art, DK.
His work has been awarded with honorary mentions from Japan Media Arts (2018) and Prix Ars Electronica (2019).
Skjødt holds a Master's degree from the Royal Academy of Music in Denmark and currently lives and works in Copenhagen.
