Notes

  • Program notes:

Composotion Du-etno was written in 2018 for my colleague Anja Bukovec, one of the most renowned Slovenian violinist. It consists of four contrast movements. Three of them are written in fast tempo, while the third movement is more expressive, lyric and slow. In the last movement some oriental and ethnical elements are included as well. Though rooted in traditional musical language, Du-etno also reveals commercial and in some parts even jazz influence.
