Notes

  • Program notes:

In this piece, the music passes thougth structures that constrained it to take different forms. Using a few elements, various architectures are developped, some principles undelying textures that seemed to be opposed. Complex polyphonic fields are filtered to reveal detailed lines that were virtually contained inside, the music appearing as a bloc whose observation reveals some relations between the global shape et the detail ribs.
Collisions has been composed during the « Ambiant Creativity » European project with the support of ACROE (France, GENESIS software), ZKM (Germany, Zirkonium software) and Ionian University (Greece, SuperCollider software).
