    sometimes we don't. Everything I do is focus my attention on а phenomenon that interests me and transfigure it. Everyone could do it.

  • Technical specs: 

    smart smooth surface

    is a played installation, meaning that despite its static, exhibition character and the possibility for the public to move in the space, it has a beginning and an end.
    it also needs a performer to be triggered. the duration is flexible and can vary between 5 minutes and 20 minutes, depending on the space and the venue.
    the set consists of up to 8 high-voltage electromagnets (relays). the number of relays can vary between 1 and 8 and depends on the duration, the space and the venue.
    the relays has to be situated in the acoustically privileged spots of the given space.

Electromagnets - Relay

this electromagnetic mechanism is triggered by sending strongly amplified sine waves (100W - 200W), in precise proportions through a toroidal transformator (12V - 230V), augmenting its voltage.
this stimulates the coil to such a point that the vibration are clearly heard and the whole mechanism becomes a magnet, which produces even more vibrations in the whole body.
