The text is a japanese popular fairy tale. I was stricken by this folktale because the main carachter is not a king or a princess but a magic raccon dog who can trnsform itself in a teapot!
The musical language, being a piece for children, is a very simple one, inspired by the eastern scales. There are ricognizable melodies for the three carachter: the raccon dog, which has a cheerful theme, the ragman, plaintive and weary and the boze in the temple, mystical.
The difficulty of the instrumental parts is suitable for students of inferior-medium musical courses.

    Instrumentation:
    flute
    violin
    piano
percussion (1 performer): tambourine, metallophone (or vibraphone), gong
    double bass
