Molitor, Claudia: Auricularis Superior

Basic information

Notes

  • Program notes:

Our listening is manifestly relational and gloriously multi-sensory, and frequently transports us via our imagination and memory through time and space. No wonder we are so enthralled by the experience of listening. The piece is intended to be listened to through headphones, and to experience Auricularis Superior the listener is encouraged to find a comfortable, stimulating or intriguing place to sit, lie down or amble through whilst the 30 minute piece weaves together stories, field-recordings and music.

  • Technical specs:

Auricularis Superior should be listened to via headphones. The easiest way to allow audiences to do this is to use headsets that can hold small micro SDs.

I can provide micro SDs already uploaded with the track, but also have headsets that were used at the works premiere, so could potentially provide these too.
