    Visus I is based on interactions between the player, the sound system and the graphic feedback which works an interactive piece for Cello, Live Electronics and Live Visuals. This work put the player in a similar place than a videogame puts a player, forcing the player to take desitions (or not) that produces an impact on the music structure and the visuals. In the case of Visus I: AfterMath{select.Score} the core is about challenging the player to face different random fragments of music that appears on the screen. On the other hand, Visus I: AfterMath{interact.Close} focus the attention mainly on the screen interaction with the player, even replacing the score with a digital system.

  • Technical specs: 

    Condenser microphone, ideally contact, audio interface, 1 mac connected to the interface, a PC with a graphics card (without integrated chip) connected to the projection / screen and connected to the computer in charge of the sound (two computers, a PC and a Mac in total).
    The necessary softwares are Processing 3 (PC with graphics card) and more recent puredata (0.49-1 to date, both computers).
