Transit 28-30 October 2016

Transit 28-30 October 2016 is a weekend-long festival devoted exclusively to 21st-century avant-garde music. It is part of Festival 20/21 and has been taking place annually since 2000. Transit stands for adventure and discovery, for believing in the creative impulses of today, for creating new works by established names and young talents, by international and Flemish composers and performers. The programme aims to offer a mix of generations and aesthetic perspectives that brings together the wonderful diversity of the newest new music: international, imaginative, daring and unapologetically radical.
