Academy of composition Philippe Manoury

Call for applications for the Academy of composition Philippe Manoury / festival Musica which will take place from 19th September to 1st October 2016 in Strasbourg (France) in partnership with the Music Academy of the High School of Arts of the Rhine (HEAR), the Conservatory, the University of Strasbourg and Labex Gream. This Academy offers young composers the opportunity of exploring and experiencing the musical creation at all stages in a concrete manner, within the dynamic artistic environment of festival Musica and gives them the opportunity to meet with a broad spectrum of European music professionals. The French composer Philippe Manoury is piloting the academy, along with a pedagogical team composed of the Spanish composer Alberto Posadas and Quatuor Diotima, pianists Jean-François Heisser and Jean-Frédéric Neuburger, percussionists Daniel Ciampolini and Minh Tâm Nguyen, and soprano Sarah Maria Sun.
