14th Munich Biennale, Internationales Festival für neues Musiktheater The motto contains sharpest contrasts: Liberation – disaster, relief – horror, departure – downfall. A composer tried to live and design as such, Claude Vivier, which was 34 years young, murdered on March 1983 in Paris. Vivier is where Marko Nikodijevićs’ Opera is about, which opens the Biennale.
