2016 Pan Music Festival in Korea

ISCM Korea is pleased to announce the 44th Pan Music Festival 2016. The annual festival endeavour to introduce recent contemporary music and to invite composers and performers to listen their music and works. The festival is a great occasion to meet and communicate with all musicians including living composers. In order to enhance the musical interchange between all ISCM, we propose to open our music festival to uphold the work of any ISCM members in the world.
1. Guideline
– Duration: Max. 10 minute- Eligibility: Members of ISCM- Work: Either world premiere or performed (preference for premiere)- Instrumentation: please see Categories- Announcement to accepted composers: Early July, but schedule can be changed.- Deadline: June 19h, 2016. 
2. Submission and Rules
– Application Form- Score (PDF file) *INCLUDE Composer’s name on the score.- Picture of composer (JPG file)- Audio File (preferred), Midi or Video file also acceptable.- Submissions must be sent electronically by email to [email protected]
Category 1(Any combination) Violin, Cello, Piano
Category 2 (Any combination) 2 Violin, Viola, Cello, Piano
Category 3 (2-6 any combination, but it must include at least one of Korean instruments; Daegeum, Haegeum, Gayageum AND Any Percussions)
     Korean Instruments: Daegeum, Haegeum, Gayageum      Western Instruments: Violin, Piano
  One Percussionist:
     Korean Percussions: Bang wool (like Sleight bell), Jung joo (like metal bowl), Jing (like small gong)     Western Percussions: Snare drum, Suspended cymbal, Wind chime, 2 Bongs, Wood Block, Rain stick
Category 4 (2-6 any combination) Clarinet(Bass Clarinet), Violin, Cello, Piano, Accordion, Electric Guitar, 1 Percussionist; Vibraphone, Crotales, Bass drum 
Category 5 (Voice work for mixed choir: S.A.T.B) A capella or piano accompanied (should be suitable for amateur choir) For more Information, please email to [email protected]
