impuls Festival

Between February 13th and 24th, 2015 the impuls Festival will take place in various locations in Graz. Concerts with Klangforum Wien, Ensemble Nikel and Schallfeld, with internationally renowned top musicians and various formations of young rising musicians, premieres of impuls commissions amongst others, classical modern literature as well as new and contemporary music (be it with and without electronics), formats such as the impuls MinutenConcerts or A Day on Campus and in the City, discussions, lectures, composers´talks and other music communication programs …: From February 13th to the 24th impuls does not only put up its Academy for instrumentalists and composers from all over the world, but also organises the impuls Festival for the fourth time to offer contemporary music also to an audience with open or still unclosing ears – in theory and practise, word and sound, discourse and with lots of experiences at first hand Read more….
