call for scores ISCM World New Music Days 2017

You are invited to submit scores/project for the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) World New Music Days 2017, taking place in Vancouver, Canada from November 2-8, 2017. In the spirit of the ISCM’s embrace of aesthetic diversity, submissions are encouraged in a wide variety of styles, reflecting the plurality of new music today. Submissions to the Festival fall into two categories: 1. Official Submissions are submitted by a Section or Full Associate Member of the ISCM in good standing. A complete list of ISCM members is available at www.iscm.org. More information on our Official Submissions page. 2. Individual Submissions are submitted by an independent composer or a composer’s authorized representative. The ISCM World New Music Days 2017 in Vancouver, Canada is committed to a diverse and inclusive Festival. Our goal for the Festival is to achieve gender parity in the programming of works, ensembles, and panels. Diversity in all its forms (race, culture, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, language, physical ability, and age) will be a guiding factor when programming the General Assembly, Festival, and all events associated with the Festival.
